I was on the road at lunch time and stopped in. I love local independent places and David's was great. A lot of reasonably priced choices so I hope I have a chance to go back. I had the steak bomb sandwich which was really good. I didn't have to wait but I bet it gets busy.
Large menu with a friendly staff. Eat inside or outside. Clean and fairly priced. Across from Dinosaurs and antique store.
Everything was delicious. We had chowder, clam strip dinner, and a keilbasa sandwich. Even the coleslaw and tarter were extra tasty. The service was fast and friendly, outdoor area clean and attended to, and the food was great!
Cute little roadside food joint. Got a fried clam strip roll, coleslaw, and onion rings, with a soft serve cone afterwards. Tasty and cooked to perfection. I got the same thing last year and the clam strips were not as good as this time, so For that I was appreciative. The only reason for the star deduction on service was because When I went back to order ice cream, I stood in line by myself (only person there) for For 8 minutes before the cashier who was sweeping the sidewalk outside Went back in. By the time she got there, a younger man had just walked up to the window to ask for extra condiments and he was taken before I was.
Best Gyro I have ever had! Fried shrimp was tender and delicious. Kids loved the curly fries and onion rings. Large menu so plenty of options, much of it fried but not all. Salads and ice cream available. Nice place to eat outside and room for the kids to play and get some energy out while we waited. Would go back!
Food is amazing everytime, casual, outdoor/indoor plus icecream. My kids love it!
Second time I have been here. First was with my daughters 15th birthday last year. Took her to deprivation tank therapy. This year for her 16th I took her for her first tattoo! David's it is again for birthday lunch! Great food, fast service! Thank you!
In my season-long quest for outdoor roadside eateries, today I landed at Dave's Place. Delicious 1/4 lb hamburger and fries served with a large soft drink for 13 and some change. Good portions, friendly service, good price. I definitely recommend!
